William Burding Jr. NTP is executive vice president and general counsel for Orange Coast Title Company and its Family of Companies. In addition to his legal responsibilities, he is a member of the company’s Executive Committee and oversees its Nevada operations, which are among the state’s largest providers of title related services. Prior to joining Orange Coast Title in 1998, William was the chief operating officer and general counsel for a Colorado-based title company specializing in large multistate commercial transactions.



Dr. Larry J. Ivens is a Michigan native and has been involved in technology for his entire working career.  He has been a Technology Educator for Vocational Education, a grant writer, systems programmer, a law enforcement consultant, and an infrastructure builder. For the last 25 years Larry has been the Director of Newaygo County Advanced Technology service (NCATS). Larry was the first to bring the Internet into the County of Newaygo. Throughout this time, NCATS continues to support the Schools, businesses, agencies, units of government, and the students and parents of the 1000 Sq. mile service area of Newaygo County.
Larry has an earned BS, MS, and Ed.D. from Western Michigan University and recently retired from the Newaygo County Regional Service Agency after 45 years of service, and is principal of his own consulting firm, specializing in technology training, assessment, and application support.


Anirban Basu is Chairman & CEO of Sage Policy Group, Inc., an economic and policy consulting firm headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland with offices in Pennsylvania and Cambodia. The firm provides strategic analytical services to energy suppliers, law firms, medical systems, government agencies, and real estate developers among others.




One of MLTA’s favorites – Senior Capitol Correspondent Tim Skubick is now in his 49th year of covering Michigan government and politics making him the longest serving political reporter in state history. Tim anchors the Michigan Public TV series Off the Record and covers the state capitol for WJBK-TV and WWJ NewsRadio 950 in Detroit and WLNS-TV in Lansing. He’s authored two books on Michigan Politics, is a member of the Journalism and Broadcast Halls of Fame and has been awarded five Emmys for his broadcast journalism work. He holds the BA and MA degrees from Michigan State University
