I would like to welcome you to the Michigan Land Title Association website. The best introduction I can give you to our association is to recite our Mission Statement:
“The Michigan Land Title Association is a professional association dedicated to creating an environment which enables its members to provide the public with the highest quality land title evidencing, title assurance and settlement services”.
We are an integral part of protecting the “American Dream”, home ownership! Whether buying, selling or mortgaging real property, the members of the MLTA are committed that each and every transaction they facilitate is addressed professionally and securely so that all the parties are assured of optimum results.
The MLTA works diligently to educate its members with seminars and materials to assist them in maintaining their awareness of the constantly changing environment within our industry. In 2009-2010 we will be offering our members continuing education programs that will award participants with completion certificates. Individuals successfully completing these courses will receive designations as either Certified Land Title Professional or Associate Land Title Professional. Consumers will know that MLTA members with these designations are the “best of the best” in our industry.
